Downgrade Your PSP expands to target Canada and Australia as well

Downgrade Your PSP marketing split into two Adword Campaigns, one targeting the US, Canada and Australia and the other will specifically target the UK audience. How this will do, only time will tell…

UPDATE: After running for 4 days, there has been another sale in the UK taking $13.04, should this campaign continue? Probably not, both campaigns stopped.

So How Much Has Tokyo Drift and DowngradeMyPSP.com Made So Far?

For the month of July, Clickbank reports that there have been a total of four successful conversions from DowngradeMyPSP.com generating a total of $51.96 (latest conversion was a UK user yesterday) now this hasn’t set the world alight with revenue but still, its an indication of what can be achieved with a more aggressive campaign!

Tokyo Drift has also seen its first Amazon conversion (UK) netting an impressive £0.83/$1.55 for one sale with still no sale from the US. In terms of Adsense totals, Tokyo Drift has made $16.79 which is very low. Tokyo Drift needs to be expanded further so that it is more reliant on SERPs instead of the Ad campaign it is going through at the moment. The long term goal is to generate $10 per day (sounds really tough yes but is possible!) and rely solely on SERPs. A new design is in the works (at some point) but more importantly, more pages and content will be added to keep the user on the site for a longer period of time…

Downgrademypsp.com adds another sale to its tally

A UK user on the 27th July decided to purchase a copy of the video making it a total of three sales for the month, not bad considering the superslow Adwords campaign running on the side to promote it, sad thing is, convert the figure into Pound Sterling and its not a great deal of money… :(

UnleashMyPSP.com is due a proper makeover very soon once the CDLakorn.com project is complete. Planned features will include an RSS feeds for the latest news, a section on games, PSP hardware and also a section on UMD movies. Naturally, this is about making revenue and a good development project with plenty of traffic so will be based on WordPress technology with an Amazon feed to display the product information and options to buy with. Being related to PSP, ClickBank products and Adsense content will also be present, its about time it paid for it self now!

Tokyo Drift Adwords Campaign Update

Following on from this post from two days ago, the Adwords campaign has been running at full blast based on certain keywords, in total there have been 15,750 unique impressions with 137 (wow, that is really low!) clicks with an average of position 1 slots. From this amount, 10,578 were from Content based ads (displayed on other sites) wth only 45 clicks, the rest were from users searching for keywords.

Adsense reports that over the last two days, the earnings were $1.58 from 17 clicks, very low indeed considering that traffic is being forced onto the site.

Similar Adword Experiment With High Budget for TokyoDrifttheSoundtrack.com

Following on from another Adwords experiment, the same principle will be applied to the following advert:

Seen FF3:Tokyo Drift Yet?
You’ve Seen the Movie Now
Get the Thumping Soundtrack!

At the moment, the Adwords campaign is sitting comfortably in the position 1 Adwords slot, the budget for the keyword has been altered slightly to be placed in the position 2 slot. This experiment will be stopped tonight before 12am.

Adword Experiment With High Budget for DowngradeMyPSP.com

An experiment has been setup using a high Adwords daily budget that will run for only one day. This is effectively the money that was recieved for the two sales from last week. The goal is to determine just how much can be made from effectively one days Adword bombing campaign.

Once this experiment is complete (Tuesday 11:59pm) its very unlikely that the Adword account will be used again. Fingers crossed, hopefully there will be unleast two more completed transactions!

Adwords Marketing Wait…

Well the plan was simple, create a one page site with information on the product with click-through ads for it, has that worked? Nope! Google has decided to kill that coupon code I was using to get plenty of AdWords credit, oh well will have to wait around 4 days now for the new batch of codes to come through…

Until then, make sure you have a look at the site!

Project Tokyo Drift

Last Saturday, went out to watch The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (Watch out for my review of the movie coming soon :D ) at the cinema, listening to the pumping soundtrack, I had already made plans to buy the Soundtrack the nextday. What happened? I discovered that the Soundtrack would not actually be released until the 20th of June (Yesterday as of writing in the US) and 27th June 2007 for the UK Release. It got me thinking…

Could this be yet another tidy project that can be automated i.e. once setup left to run on its own? With a small Adwords marketing budget to advertise while the SE (Stands for Search Engines) index the pages? Hmm that would work so off I went to grab a domiain name. After some deliberation I chose the following:

http://www.tokyodriftthesoundtrack.com

Im sure you will agree, its the perfect name (although it doesn’t contain ‘The Fast and the Furious’ or any subtags, we’ll reply on SERP (Search Engine Results Pages) for that. Domain and hosting is now sorted, I just need some time to get the contents and adlinks ready to post. The site http://www.tokyodriftthesoundtrack.com should be picked up by the SE (well MSN and Yahoo anyway) relatively quickly. More updates will be added later!
